As part of Aliança de Misericórdia – a philanthropic entity with more than 60 units spread throughout Brazil and the world – ALLEA is a brand of gastronomic products with a social vision and mission. Its purpose is to support hundreds of children by giving back 100% of the profits from the sales of ALLEA’s products.
Our initial challenge was to create a packaging line for one of its products. By the middle of the project, we’ve identified the need to create a new and independent brand that could embrace all future productions.
As a solution, we found a name that refers to the Aliança de Misericórdia and brings a cheerful personality to the project. As for the brand, all of its elements – logo, identity, and packaging system – celebrate a well-balanced, warm, inviting, and blessed visual universe.
The earliest products – different kinds of biscuits, spiced nuts, and jams – were created by chefs and students of the gastronomy course at Vila Cuore, one of the projects within the Aliança de Misericórdia. The limited production of 400 units sold out within a week!
